Well Josh, that is a loaded question.  Barrier 1st is a super hero for the Barrier Reef and other coral reefs, meaning that it doesn't cause further harm as some over the counter brands do. It allows the Reef to get sunlight and grow as opposed to blocking the reef from vital nutrients. So yes, in a way, Barrier 1st, does save sea turtles, by keeping the environment healthy.
